I'm seriously thinking about just ordering a couple of stripped lowers. That way I could pick up parts to build the 'next' versions a little bit at a time...

The DPMS I've currently go should be good for general plinking and what have you, a carbine should be fine. I'm not looking for it to be a 'reach out and touch someone' but more of a 100-250+ yard range type gun.

Oh well. It'll take a while to build up the budget for it. Might even have to go into reloading

I seriously think my next gun will be a M1 Garand though...
