Hello, SRE. I too handload for this wonderful little ctg. Yes, I have been using the excellent RWS brass..sadly no longer being imported, this has quite small flashholes.
I have gotten in the habbit of de-priming with a seperate base & punch & light plastic mallet for all of my loading..keeps the primer grit out of press & dies. I have made up smaller dia. de-prime punches from #drill shanks.
You might want to chuck up those pins in drill press, or handrill & reduce dia. probably too hard for files, but a coarse hone with oil should do it.
