Stainless and nickel are NOT the same thing.

"Under the barrell it says mod 28-2 and serial Number N205XXX"

I missed this earlier.

Not one of the turbo rare FHP guns. Someone took a Model 28-2 and had it nickel plated.

If it's a factory refinish job, it might be worth a bit more. If it's an aftermarket refinish, it's worth less.
