I carry my 5 shooter 38 even at home but when in bed, the shower, etc. I keep it in a Gardall safe which is about the size of a microwave. I'm very happy with the Gardall, it has enough room for my gun, my wife's, a couple of others, wallet, money, pain meds, checkbooks, etc.
