my GG is standard factory in every way. came with standard black front blade sight and rear sight is all black as well. It is essentially useless for quick aiming and I am definitely getting a peep on it before next year's BLACK bear season.

That brockman's Gen III peep sight looks great but I need fiber optics on the front sight if I am shooting black bear. If the front sight blade is all black it is almost impossible to sight quickly on a BLACK bear.

Aside from the sights the gun is amazing. The 45-70 is a powerhouse and I may flinch a bit when I pull the trigger but i am always happy with the result. So you know what I mean, If you have a 45-70 just shoot a good piece of firewood if you are in a need of a laugh.

Anybody know how the gun shoots with a 16'' barrel?

And what was the total cost of the rig first posted?
