On the one hand,maybe Prius's would be fun,
But really,I'm into minimum impact targets.Most all the suggested targets leave a pile of crap that can obviously be attributed to shooters.
I have shot cheap cans of pop,and we get a scattering of aluminum shards that would cut a gut on wildlife or grazing livestock.I want my rancher to welcome me back.I treasure my privilege.
So,perhaps your sweety would be as impressed by how you leave the shooting grounds as she would by spectacular reactions.
Check in with you produce dept/dumpster.If you can get grapefruit,oranges,cabbage,tangerines,all react.Eggs are a challenge,and they react.
Rip a shallow groove in a 2x4,and stick the edge of a ritz cracker in it.Lolli-pops..Tape a clothespin to a coathanger and use it to hold balloons.You can tether a plastic jug so you can keep shooting it.Laundry soap jugs last a while.
Steel dingers are great.Dueling trees are like playing tether ball with a gun.
Ther is just something ugly about leaving a mess of plastic,glass,etc.
