Why would arming teachers be any “stupider” than arming anyone else? If you can’t trust someone with a gun, you just can’t trust them.
Being trustworthy is a people thing and doesn’t depend on what object is in your possession.
Some people think arming civilians is stupid. So let’s just not let citizens have guns, that will fix it.
