For me, it's a close race between the Mini and the M1A. The mini is a bit more compact and easier to handle, and quite a bit lighter. But, in the end, the larger caliber of the M1A wins out in my opinion. The greater ability to take larger animals makes it a better general purpose gun.

That said, either will do most thing equally
