That was real nice.
I don't think that I would run abrasives down a custom barrel, but I'm not sure the same thing is true of my wife's Savage. I know that with my Ruger 77 MKII Target, it shot better after firelapping.
Ouu.. That's a lot of reading. Need to do that one on my next day off. Looks like it is well worth the time.
