Generally, best accuracy will be 0.002" off of the rifling. Sometimes magazines limit the longer overall length. If that's the case, I'd go as long as the magazine allows. You can also play with powder charges. Just because they're the same weight doesn't mean the powder charge that shoots one well will shoot the other accurately. I'm not going to suggest powder changes as not only can it get cost prohibitive but in most cases if a powder is matched to the cartridge/bullet mass for one bullet, it can be tweaked to shoot another.
