I know this is an old thread, but have a question along the same lines. I have a DCM International Harvester Garand I’m looking to sell that I purchased in the late 80’s or early 90’s through the DCM before the CMP took over. Anyway, receiver, hammer, trigger pack, gas screw and rear sight has IHC markings, almost 100% positive the bolt is Springfield. Stock is dinged up from use (imagine that), I have no idea what the throat or barrel gauges…barrel is ’54 I think and bore isn’t pitted, although it is dark. Any idea of value, for insurance and possible sale value, thanks.
