I have a SAKO (pronounced "Socko" in Finnish) Model 75 synthetic stainless in 30-06 as well. I love the rifle, save for one negative: The clip magazine release lever, which is too easy to accidently trip it; so much that I have to duct tape over the magazine opening when I go hunting. The SAKO Model 75 30-06 magazines are getting hard to find on the internet --- So may I suggest picking an extra one up if you can (though they are expensive...$75?).

Some years ago...the president of SAKO went hunting in Africa with his Model 75. He accidently tripped the magazine release lever and the magazine fell in a puddle of mud. He then realized that he would have to design a new rifle --- That's how the Model 85 came about.
