Savage ain't cheap anymore. I'd be buying the TC Venture. About the same price as Savage, but proving to be a much better gun. There is a $50 rebate on them right now which makes them even more appealing. Scope bases are also included in the package.
They don't offer 7 mag, but the Ruger American in 30-06 is pretty close and they sell for $350
