I've suggested it before, but so far w/o results:
A gas-driven version of the Johnson M1941, complete w/ rapid take down and side-charging clip-loaded rotary magazine for all the poor saps stuck behind the Granola Curtain or in the other states held hostage by Communist-run legislatures & executive officers...
Much like the Mini-14, only w/o the removable-mag or over-gassed accuracy issues. Heck, in some parts of Okkupied Amerika, just the fact that it had a fixed mag would make having a pistol grip stock a non-issue!
