Take your 22-250, the 12G & borrow a "deer rifle". That way all bases covered, & you can swap between yourselves.
From the late 1970's to mid 90's a group of mates & I use to regularly travel 10 hours drive west of Sydney, Australia where we knew a wheat/sheep farmer & had roughly 30,000 acres to cull pigs on in the Walgett area.
On our best trips we would get over 50 pigs. For many years all we had were a couple of .222's & a 22-250. Seemed to work ok for us.
