I got the scattergun bug also. I have handguns but want a better HD gun. That lead me to the obvious... a shotgun. I am not wealthy, just thrifty but not cheap...
I am not, nor will I ever be a hunter (unless the world ends, but that is taboo on this site) so I just need a bedside HD gun.
I was looking at a Savage Arms 350 Security Pump Shotgun. Seems like a good fit for me. Simple, effective, inexpensive but not cheap.
