I'm not sure how this is even possible?
I've loaded my J-22 countless number of times, and it loads just like many other guns: insert loaded magazine; pull slide back, release. Anyone who shoots their hand with a J-22, would do the same with a Colt Mustang. Clearly operator error.
Maybe there's someone out there who shot their eye out with the "dangerous" J-22!
