or the sidefolder AMD-65 Hungarian (also has all-matching components). All of my AKs (five) use only the fairly ergonomic Hun. Tanker mags.

My Yugo M59 (is not a 59/66) SKS might be as perfect, but can't be as compact.

If a rifle ever Needs to be carried in a car on the edge of this suburban/rural area, or driving into the city, it will only be during very unlikely, very bad times.
