I went out to the range my 45-70 is right on at 100 and i was able to consistently hit the target at 200 calulating the hold over. I never take any long shots and usually let anything pass so i will go with the 45-70 . Any thing longer i will have to try my calling. I always appreciate the great advice you guys give me. I worked up to near max on penns 405 hardcast. I am around 1730 fps and with the gel pads the old shoulder is doing fine. Unlike Buffalo Bore magnum at 2002 fps ouch
