I'm not trying to pick on you, I'm just curious: what extraction problems would they have with eight .22 Magnum cases that they wouldn't have with eight .22 Long Rifle cases?
As to new chamberings for the LCR, I still cannot understand why Ruger hasn't made it in .327 Federal. The primary benefit of the .327 is supposed to be ballistics superior to the .38 Special with less recoil than a .357 Magnum, and I can't think of any platform where that reduced recoil would be better appreciated than in a lightweight revolver.
