generally accepted pressure data... from the Contender "guys" & my local builders opinion...

starting loads in the manuals should be fine, but the hotter loads would be too hot

( notice Thompson Center doesn't make a 444 Marlin "
Contender" barrel ) but they are available from a couple of aftermarket barrel makers, from what I understand, for lighter handloads only...
