I am with Art on this one. The best bore sighter out there is free and god gave you two of 'em

Get it on the paper at 100 and work from there. If this is not a good answer then get the leupold.

As for range finders I bought a Leupold RX-II from cabelas http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...756&hasJS=true
for $319 (camo model) and I have been very pleased with it so far. It ranges correctly out to know targets and has a thing called tru balistic range that compensates for elevation when ranging the target. Brother has the Nikon Monarch 800 and is pleased with it as well, but he did offer to trade me for my Leupold after he used it when yote hunting (if that tells you anything).
