I've never been a huge fan of the FN Tactical. The $1k asking price is a bit much for what it is. You can suppress a Glock or M&P on the cheap. Its hard to find suppressor sights for a M&P however. You should be able to find several suppressor sights for the Glock. A Sig P220 would be another excellent choice. 1911's are a fun gun to suppress. I ran a suppressor with no booster on a Commander sized Sig TacOps with a factory recoil spring with no issues. It was a fun gun.

The best I could think of is a HK mk23 if you could find and afford one.
