I have a Springfield Mispec 1911 with the new key lock. The thumb safety is hard as h*** to disengage. Could this be caused by the lock mechanism? If so how difficult is it to remove? I have no experience with key lock guns and probably wouldn't have bought the gun had I realized it had the lock. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
