Worst I've done:
Got a muscle twitch in my strong arm just as the shot broke and hit the target carrier at the indoor range dead center. IIRC, I was shooting either my 1911 or S&W 686 with lead reloads. Splattered lead all over my target, some coming back and stinging me in the face
. It was embarrassing, but I was wearing safety glasses and as always, it could have been worse.
Worst I've seen someone else do:
The lady standing 2 feet from me during the live fire session of the concealed carry class shot herself in the foot with a 22.
2 rules violated: keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot, and don't point the weapon at a target you don't intend to destroy.
