I think there is a market for items like Manuhrin - just like there is a market for Tiffany diamond rings. But this market appears to be much smaller than S&W or Colt. It may be because the real value this product offers is not worth the price for the vast majority of people. If someone falls in love with a Manuhrin, I don't think $5,300 or so would be a problem for most people.
