Congrats on your new purchase. Am a Kahr fan but haven't handled a P380 yet.
I carry my LCP daily in the spring & summer, but might look at a P380 eventually.
You are correct that the little Rugers nip the hand a bit when shooting much at the range.
Am currently having fun with my new CW45, which will replace the PM9 for cool weather carry - the 9mm was gifted to my oldest son for Christmas.
