The same gun I carry on me when I'm awake. If its not on me, then I'm sleeping and it is in my nightstand. If I'm awake, it is on me.
Ruger Sp101 loaded with 38 specials. Next to it a flash light and a safariland speed loader for 5 more shots.
I do have a Mossberg 12 gauge loaded and ready to go in my closet safe, but in all reality, if I'm awakened from a dead sleep.. I don't know if I would have time to get to the closet and get the safe open in time. I think the shotgun is more of a SHTF type thing where I had atleast a bit of warning before all hell broke loose.
