Pretty much. On the state level you'll have all the refugees from other states rushing in to ruin their new state with the same failed policies of their previous, decimated state. On the Federal level, I expect something along the lines of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban but multiple ones and permanent. The cumulative effect will make the U.S. more like current U.K. gun laws within 2 or 3 decades or so...
