Just about all my higher powered scopes are side focus and I do like it. but since I just target shoot the AO would do just as well, I am thinking about getting a fixed power weaver T-24 for my Tikka t3 lite in 223..right now I have a nikon buckmaster 6-18 on it, it is a very good scope with side focus but the crosshairs are a bit thick..
