Zippy, Are you saying that simply releasing the trigger is supposed to be difficult? I figured I was just being a clutz, like when I tried to pull the slide on my 870 when I was supposed to pull the trigger. I think I have to rewire what passes for my brain. Actually, if I only remember to release the trigger, I think doubles are easier than singles.

(I edited this after it dawned on me what Zippy was saying; that learning to release the trigger is so very basic that any body should get used to it soon. I agree with him. The first time it happened I should have figured out not to do it again. Next time I try skeet I will see if my finger can do such a simple thing as to release the trigger.)
