Well, I guess it would have happened sooner or later. Wideners is now selling Russian Bulk Bullets. They are "Bi-Metal" jackets, thick copper cover on the outside and thin soft steel inside.

That's the only 62 grain soft points I've seen.
Maybe in my chrome lined barrel bushmaster.
I would be interested in finding out if anyone has put a thermocouple on a barrel and compared barrel temp after 100 rounds of copper jacket vs 100 rounds of bi-metal jacket. Not very scientific but I'm interested if finding out if there is a downside to the bi-metal.
