My first pistol was a Glock 23. I thought big deal and sold it shortly after. I have since over the years had SIGs, S&W M&P, several HKs, a Beretta PX4 and a few CZs.. I just kept coming back to Glocks. They're not pretty... But that doesn't matter to me - it's strictly a tool. I am not saying Glocks are any better... Or any worse than the others I've owned - just that they work for me. They're minimalistic, simple and have a good track record.

As far as the brass to the face - I must be one of the lucky ones as I have NEVER had a singe spent casing eject backwards.

Glocks just work for me. You have to try several brands and styles to see what works for you.
