A 300 BO pistol I built that uses a 7.5" barrel and regular bird cage is a tad loud (but no louder than a regular 5.56 rifle IMO)--but other than that soft shooting even when firing full-power supersonic loads. Anyways--I understand the joys of firing subsonic loads suppressed (I'm just too cheap to pay for it). Enjoy and post some pics of groups.
