Realistically, to me the "detachable" is more important than the 10 rounds, but I was kind of like the idea of the "universal" design for the magazine rather than proprietary, and I figured my best likelihood to have a universal is to go to a 10 round because they are more likely to have compatible alternatives. Probably not great logic, but there it is.
