No problems with my 1995 220, shoots everything I feed it.
Well, almost no problems. The front and rear sight are #8 and put the bullet slightly below the front sight dot. Also the trigger bar spring broke, but replacement parts were only $4. Just a little disconcerting when the trigger wouldn't return.

All the sheet steel slides were made in Germany. At some point in the early 90's assembly of the 220 started in the states. You can tell if the 220 was assembled in the US if it doesn't have proof marks or a date code under the dust cover.

This statement confuses me. My 220 is marked "made in Germany" yet doesn't have any proof marks or date code. A S/N lookup puts it around 1995 manufacture.
