Jim, tried to reply to your e-mail, but with my inter-net skills thought it wise to answer here also.

The Hornady manual is the 3rd edition, published in 1982. It shows an O.A.L. of 2.435" for Hornady's 100gr short jacket lead round-nose bullet. As a safety reminder the 35.3grs of IMR-3031,was a "MAX LOAD", and should be reduced by the customary 10%, and worked-up from there.
