Actually they would probably still finds ways around that. I say best solution is to elect a pro-gun government. Of course this requires that a significant percentage of the population actually cares about guns. However, the problem here is that a lot of people who actually care about guns don't live in places like Chicago since they want to have guns. Maybe IL could pass a preemption law since the difference between the state laws in IL and the laws in Chicago are like the difference between California and Arizona.
My friend things are a changing. We had a victory in McDonald vs. Chicago and we had a forum member tell us he got his Chicago Firearms permit
