I think you made a really stupid chioce. Too light a caliber for coyote. Way too light.
In order to do you a favor, I have a Marlin in 30-30 I will swap you even for. Much better gun for coyotes.

Hey, have a ball. I've shot them with a .22WMR with no problem.
Paint the gun white in case you run across Zumbo. Hunting with a black gun is really, really bad.
