Lesson learned SWC

Learned an important lesson about SWC at the expense of a few stage scores at the USPSA Match this weekend.

I literally dumped 5 mags on the ground just in one stage.

I know the bullet must be seated like you see on the right with lead rounds. But I thought a jacketed SWC would not be as susceptible to catch. I was even below COAL listed in Speer.

Oh well. Ended up swapping to round nose ammo for the rest of the match. Brought these back home and seated them lower. For some reason I did not notice that the jacketed Berry MFG round had a shorter tip than the Missouri Lead.
