You can have factory engraving verified by Colt with a factory letter, cost $200 and takes 3 month. Might want to suggest that to the seller if he's so convinced he's got something special there.

I used to love being able to hit hard at 1000 yards. As I get older I find hitting a mini ram at 200 yards with the 22 oddly more satisfying.
