Of the two scope mounts you chose, one has a 20 MOA cant for long range shooting. The other is 0 MOA (no cant), which means you have to rely on the vertical adjustment in the scope for long range shots.

Either mount should serve you well. But given the choice, I would go with the 20 MOA mount.

A third option is EGW. I have them on 3 of my 5 Savages.

An easy way to measure for scope rings is to install the scope mount and place a couple stacks of pennies for the scope to rest upon. You can add or subtract pennies until you get the scope-to-barrel clearance you desire. Then measure the height of the stack of pennies. Most ring manufacturers will list the ring height (distance from the top of the mount rail to the bottom of the scope tube).

I like Leupold QRW rings because they are easy to lap and allow the scope to be easily removed and installed without loss of zero.
