Mike, you don't say exactly what type of class you are looking for. The NRA sponsors classes called "FIRST Steps" Shotgun, pistol, rifle, etc., that are designed to educate people new to the particular firearms in safety, function, and technique of firing them. You can find a list of courses nearest you by digging through the safety and training locations in the NRA website.
