I think it depends on where you shop. Some of the gun stores here have has 9mm constantly, but for a VERY hefty price. Some of the Wal*marts here have .22 no matter how much time flies they don't run out. Just today my girlfriend and I bought some American Eagle 9mm rounds, 124 grain, 50 pack, for about $11.69 a box. We bought 30 boxes. I'm going to end up getting a P22 and a Cougar .45 soon just so when one ammo runs out, I'll have other choices (only the .45 will be strictly for defense rather then target shooting).
