The pt 1911 will be my next pistol purchase. (currently only own an FNP 45) I have shot the pt 1911 and other tauruses for that matter and have found taurus to be a great buy for the money. I think its easy for someone to tell another to purchase a high dollar gun when the person who states that has the money for it. Not everyone can spend a small fortune on a gun, I sure cant. I think taurus is great, just do your research and you will be confident in the company. Also if your set on taurus their 24/7 line of pistols are awesome as well.
