Their lawyers are terrified that someone will buy ammunition, then pull out a weapon
-- load it -- and either kill themselves or others in the store.

That today's society will blame the store (and victims sue it) is the problem

That the managers can't figure out that someone who would do such a thing would most
likely just enter the store loaded already is lost on them.

That the managers can't figure out that the perp could/would simply load the gun at
the cash register upon buying the ammunition (then shoot up the place) is also lost on them.

(But then the lawyers probably tell them it's no longer WalMart's ammunition.)
