Sooner or later people are going to realize that these big, heavy hardcast slugs at moderate velocity penetrate and kill all out of proportion to their modest energy numbers. That energy is way too dependent on velocity, puts little importance on weight and none on diameter.
I tried the same test, trying to see if the 240gr Hornady swaged hollowpoint would expand at 750-800fps and gave up when it exited on seven water-filled milk jugs.
