Took the maxus duck huntin this morning in below 20 degrees. My friend and I were breaking 3 inch ice that we could stand on. This is all very unusual for Mississippi. I have to say the Maxus is the real deal. Our guns on this trip included a benelli nova pump and my maxus. As soon as some birds came through my friend tried to shoot his pump, firing pin was frozen. I threw up and boom. Cycled fine.
I did everything with this gun i would do with a pump in this kinda of weather which includes break ice.
