Consider the following. Go back to the lead, cast bullet, hard cast, H & G 68 (or similar).

Try an oal of 1.260. Diameter of loaded round, at end of cartroidge case, after TAPER CRIMPING, thould run aproximately .470" diameter.

I shoot this type of load in 2 45 auto's, one a Colt 70 series government model, the other a Kimber Classic Custom Target. It feeds fine in both.

I also wonder as to what it is in particular that troubeles you about lead bullets, though ones personal preference is of course ones personal preference. The SWAGED LEAD BULLET might be so soft that it is causing a problem, or problems.
