I just bought a case of this ammo. It does have a soft wax coating on the brass. That actually seemed to help the 10-22 run vs CCI sub-sonic ammo. The RWS is 2 cents/round cheaper than the best price I've found on CCI and just as accurate in my 22/45 and RAR.
